COVID-19 Procedures

Garland Lodge & Golf Resort opening May 29, 2020

We are implementing the following procedures, as keeping both our guests and employees’ safe is our most important responsibility:

Guest Requirements - Guests will be required to wear a mask at all times in public areas inside the resort. If a guest does not have a mask, they will not be allowed inside (if needed, we will have them for sale). Upon entering the Resort, each guest will have their temperature taken from a staff member, as well as asked a series of questions to determine current health status. If Garland deems that any guest may pose a risk to others, they may be asked to leave immediately with a full refund.

Employees - Our staff will also be screened daily, and will be required to complete a questionnaire and have their temperature taken. They will also be wearing a mask in public spaces, and have each been issued a personal size bottle of sanitizer.

Golf - Golf carts will be fully sanitized before and after each use, and two persons per cart is now expected/allowed. However, if you feel you require your own cart, please inquire at the Pro-Shop. There will be no rakes in the bunkers, no water coolers, and no ball washers on the courses. Beverage cart service is now available but limited, as well as Take-out service from Antlers and Divots. As always, personal coolers are not allowed on the carts.

Accommodations - All accommodations will be fully cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest. However, once checked in, housekeeping will not be entering rooms. Towels and supplies can be requested and will be left by the door. All room card keys are also sanitized after each use.

Food & Beverage - Restaurants will be open at 50% capacity, with appropriate social distancing enforced. All tables and chairs will be sanitized after each use, silverware will be pre-wrapped in paper napkins, we will use disposable menus only, and no condiments will be on tables.
