Winter Is A Magical Time At Garland!
Note: February 22nd will be the last night for lodging for the 2020 winter. Ski trails will be open February 28th to March 1st as will the lounge 11am-9pm Friday & Saturday and 11am-4pm Sunday.
With over a 1,000 acres of snow covered natural beauty, Garland is the perfect getaway whether you just want to relax by the fire or get active with cross country skiing, snow shoeing, or access to the Michigan snowmobile trail system, we have the spot for you.
Beginning just after Christmas and going through February we offer events every weekend from culinary adventures like our Polish night, Beer and Bingo, sledding, sleigh rides and our acclaimed Nordic, Nibble and Nosh events. Our “more than a Fish Camp” experience offers music, a bonfire, fishing, bowling, badminton and golf- all on the ice on one of our Swampfire golf course ponds. You will also enjoy a piping hot bowl of chili, grilled fish, and a variety of both adult and children’s beverages. It’s accessible by cross country skis, snowshoe, or by a horse or tractor pulled wagon.

Winter Wonderland Weekend
December 28 and 29
We kick off winter season with our annual winter wonderland spectacular! This is a family friendly weekend. Friday night offers beer and bingo with root beer floats for the kids. Enjoy sleigh rides through the winter woods, and on Saturday afternoon of crafts for kids of all ages. A variety of choices are available form cookie decorating to snow cones to small festive crafts. All crafts are less than $5. We’ll have indoor movies available. Take a trek to our sledding hill. Our “more than a fish camp” experience is included for this weekend with your guest room. Bring the kids to play on the ice. You can fish, bowl, golf or play badminton all on the ice. The pond is stocked with trout and our staff will assist you with ice fishing. A roaring bonfire and piping hot bowl of soup is nearby for you to warm up. Play a game of cornhole next to the fire.

Sleigh Rides At Garland
Enjoy an enchanting sleigh ride, pulled by these gentle giants. Bundle up with blankets and hot cocoa for your sleigh ride through our 3000 acres where you may get a chance to see wild game such as deer, elk, and turkey. Enjoy the winter peacefulness and tranquility you can only experience at Garland.
Saturdays select weekends this winter for $10 per person. Hot Cocoa available prior to departure. Reservations required so call 989-786-2211 for details and to book your seat.
Ring in the New Year at Garland capped off with our Dueling Pianos show in Garland Center. The party runs from 9pm through Midnight. Admission includes entertainment, a late night buffet, party favors, our huge bonfire outside Garland Center and balloon drop. Dine in Tamarack Restaurant on our Prime Rib and Crab Dinner Buffet.
Our NY Eve package includes all the above plus a room for two and breakfast on New Year’s Day. It is a 2 night stay package so you can either arrive on December 30 or December 31. This package is priced from $495 per couple. That’s only $123.75 per person per night!
Nordic Nibble & Nosh!
These popular weekends give you the chance to get out of the house and into a snow covered paradise! Start with Beer and Bingo on Friday nights. Saturday morning enjoy a great breakfast, and head to the ski shop to pick up your skis and boots or your snow shoes. You’ll spend the day outdoors at several food and beverage stations including our popular Fish Camp, before returning to the Antlers Bar patio for cordials around the fire and then inside for dinner. Each weekend is themed for fun!
This weekend is a Carnival Theme! You’re going to ski through the fair with carnival themed food and beverage and games. Opportunities to win prizes at each stop.
January 31- February 1
Get ready for the Garland winter Olympics! Each stop will have a competition that can be either fun or competitive. We’ll even have the first Garland Biathalon! No you won’t bring a rifle but our Director of Security will be supervising a target shoot! We’ll gather back at Antler’s Patio for some ending games and award medals!
Celebrate Valentines Weekend with our Poker Run. Who will have the best hand? Prizes! Add our Valentine’s Dinner to this trip and enjoy a fabulous 4 course dinner for only $100 per couple.,

Enjoy the beauty of nature in winter at Fish Camp! Cross Country ski to camp or take our tractor pulled wagon. More than fishing, camp is a roaring bonfire, a piping hot pot of chili or soup, ice fishing for trout, and yes, winter golf, all with music playing! Our superintendent makes a putting green on the ice complete with green dye. Take your best shot at putting on ice. Have you ever bowled on ice? Our one lane ice bowl is done with a regulation bowling ball and pins! We even play badminton on ice. This is both an adult and family friendly environment. We’ve thought of everything- even a restroom!
Adult beverages are available for purchase along with coffee and hot chocolate!
